• In 2016, I read ~20,000 pages in 69 books and watched ~220 movies and seasons of TV shows. My scrapbook was HERE.
• I did a summer Colin Firth movie marathon of ~30 flicks which was a total blast though I'm still to post about it.
• I finished this movie-a-week challenge, though unlike [livejournal.com profile] peripety, I was bad and didn't write reviews for most of them.

• Murder She Baked (TV | 2015-17) (lightweight and extra white without enough "cozy" to the mysteries)
• Air Force One (1997) (guilty pleasure)
• Presumed Innocent (1990) (a good thriller, but the reveal has a certain misogyny to it)
• Beatriz at Dinner (2017) (I thought I'd love it, but it was so heavy-handed and too much on the nose. I'm very strongly with the highlighted issues, but it was like watching an issuefic)
• Deep Impact (1998) (brings nothing new to the disaster genre; Tea Leoni is terrible as a lead)
• The Ides of March (2011) (loved it when it first came out, love it now)
• Star Wars | The Force Awakens (2015) (idk I still like Finn and Rey best and I hope the story is more original in TLJ)
• Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011) (for Gosling bits)
• Patriot Games (1992) (Ford was delicious, the rest of it bored me)
• Clear and Present Danger (1994) (this had a better premise, but didn't keep my interest)

• Wind River (2017) (quality thriller with Olsen and Renner)
• A Ghost Story (2017) (unexpected in a good way, but felt long)

- A tour de force - or - this movie/show got to me on a very personal level.
- Great stuff, recommending it.
- Good stuff, I liked it enough to complete.
- Lost my interest half-way.
- Hate-watched parts of it.
